Mountain People’s Health Councils, Inc. is now accepting applications for a HR Director.

Principal Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:
-Employee Relations & Administration
-Maintains and develops employee handbook and policies
-Maintains hiring data and metrics
-Leads onboarding and orientation processes including training programs
-Scheduling and reviewing job evaluations
-Manages terminations and exit interview processes, providing feedback to leaders as appropriate
-Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations
-Oversees administration employee incidents (workman’s comp, disability, ect.)
-Benefits Administration

Key Qualifications:
-Minimum 5 years of prior Human Resources Generalist experience required (or a combination of experience and education)
-Experiencing practicing HR in a health car setting a plus
-Bachelor’s degree (BS or BS) required
-Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, organizational, and writing skills.
-Willingness to learn and contribute to team
-Demonstrated ability to take initiative and to seek out creative solutions.
-Ability to adapt to different needs and to work with staff members at all levels.
-Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Excel and proficiency with other Microsoft Office Software including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
